We have always looked to push the bounds of the conference experience at Inbox Expo. So with our first hybrid in-person/online Inbox Expo we wanted to go a little further than what emailexpert has done previously. We had a great event in Miami in June with emailexpert Live and want to push the needle here in Valencia.
Our first ever inaugural event the 2020 Mapp Inbox Expo was meant to be a hybrid experience, allowing those who could not make it to London to view the content from their homes and offices. The pandemic meant we had to pivot with only days before the event to an online only experience.
It is only now at our third Inbox Expo, our biggest ever was the Spring 2020 Netcore Inbox Expo with over 1400 delegates attending. It is with great pride that we can announce this 2020 SparkPost Inbox Expo Winter Edition will be our first ever truly hybrid experience.
Our understanding at emailexpert of what it means to hold a hybrid event has changed significantly over the past 2 years.
For this first foray of blending in-person and online we will be presenting a keynote from Washington D.C to a live audience in Valencia Spain, as well as to hundreds of delegates online from across the world. The speaker will be presenting virtually but also see a live audience reaction. Our first experiment in blending experiences and are extremely excited by the keynote who will be pioneering this first for emailexpert.
KAM is sometimes referred to properly as Kevin A. McGrail, a man who may have confounded the occasional marketer but is held in high regard by anyone in the know in the email community. His work in combatting abuse on the email channel is well documented. He plans a humorous keynote to kick off the Inbox Expo.
Currently scheduled for 3PM local time in Valencia, this is however tentative.
