What is Inbox Expo 2021 Resort Edition?

Online: 1000 digital delegates over 4 days.

In Person: 3 nights on the Valencian Coast of Spain. 60+ experts come together for live sessions, panel discussions & extensive networking.

Let's be real

Your risk tolerance will decide whether you are comfortable coming to an in person conference in the foreseeable future. 

Whilst we hope there will be significant improvement by the time of Inbox Epo 2021, we also understand the current situation is not likely to improve quickly. 

We are not banking on a vaccine for the success of the conference. We are not making assumptions that borders currently closed will open. There is currently a list of about 40 countries whose residents are able to travel to Spain and we welcome those who are eager for an in person experience held in a responsible manner.

The organisers visited and stayed in various locations in Spain during the pandemic finding the perfect space for this new kind of event. We know what is possible and have witnessed safe public events and shared spaces .

 

The State of Emergency (“Estado de Alarma”) ended on 21 June 2020. Spain’s borders are now open to European Union and Schengen-area countries as well as many others. Travelers to Spain are not currently subject to any quarantine requirement unless directed by Spanish authorities upon arrival in Spain due to individuals specific circumstances.

FAQ

Your health and safety as well as that of everyone involved are always our highest priority. We therefore ask you to inform yourself before your arrival about the current general entry regulations or quarantine regulations.
If you have had contact with COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days before your visit or if you yourself have symptoms of a viral infection (dry cough, fever, feeling sick), please stay at home.

Most frequent questions and answers

We have secured a fabulous location on the Valencia coast by the beaches of Denia. A 13 hour drive from Paris France., 6 hours from Andorra, 12 hrs from Genoa Italy, 10 hours from Lisbon Portugal and 18 hours from London.

It is a 7km drive into town, a traditional Spanish town with less than 70,000 residents. Ensuring we minimise casual interactions and take a considered approach to the safety of all the events stakeholders including the local community.

Online tickets for the digital event are avail on hopin. There are currently a limited number of early bird tickets available for free.

We are not currently selling tickets to the physical event. You can register your interest by subscribing at the bottom of this page and we will keep you posted about the availability.

Absolutely yes. The tickets we have available will be offered FIRST to the delegates who were supposed to be at the physical event in London in 2020. You will be credited the full value of your original purchase and receive additional discounts and value.

You can alternatively use your credit for virtual event access or for any future event (tentatively planned London Q4 2021).

Currently visitors to Spain are not required to quarantine except in very specific individual circumstances. Whilst we are hopeful of a positive change to the global pandemic however as organisers we are approaching this with a view the situation in terms of restrictions and heightened health measures will be much the same as today. Therefore you should anticipate and be prepared to engage in your own countries mandatory self isolation on your return. 

At the time of publication certain countries have established restrictions or quarantine periods on people arriving from Spain. These countries are: GermanyAustria (unless arriving from Canary Islands), AustraliaBelgium (except if coming from the islands of Tenerife, La Gomera, El Hierro or La Palma), CanadaSouth Korea, China, DenmarkSlovenia, FinlandGeorgia,GreeceItaly, NorwayJapanNetherlandsPolandUnited Kingdom SwitzerlandUruguay, and Tunisia

All countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom as well as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Serbia, Montenegro, Morocco, Rwanda, Tunisia, Georgia, Algeria, and Uruguay. EU countries including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.

At the time of writing those returning to the UK from Spain are subject to a period of self isolation with significant financial penalties for failing to comply.

There will be additional hurdles for travel to Europe post Brexit, regardless of the situation with Covid-19, ensure you are prepared as passport renewals etc are significantly delayed at this time:  https://www.gov.uk/visit-europe-1-january-2021

Spain makes additional requirements of visitors from the UK and elsewhere.

  • Provide the Spanish Ministry of Health with contact information and any history of exposure to COVID-19, 48 hours prior to travel. You can do this on the Spain Travel Health website or downloadable app. It is mandatory for all passengers travelling to Spain to fill out and sign the online form associated with your trip, regardless of your nationality or residency status. On completion, you will be issued a personal and non-transferable QR code which you must show (electronically or hardcopy) at airport health controls on arrival
  • Temperature check
  • Undergo a visual health assessment

Travellers who are normally resident in the United States are NOT able to visit Spain at the time of writing. We cannot assume the situation in respect of travel restrictions will change in the next 6 months. Therefore we actively discourage residents of the US from securing tickets to the resort edition. We will keep a close eye on the situation and hope to welcome our American cousins to live events in Europe at the earliest possible opportunity. 

Visitors from Canada are not subject to restrictions on entry to Spain. However the Government of Canada warns against all non-essential travel outside the country. We have no reason to believe at this point in time that this advice is likely to change. Therefore serious consideration should be given before choosing to visit Spain for Inbox Expo 2021. Spain has suffered hard at the hands of the global pandemic. The original state of alarm and lockdown has long passed, however some restrictions and limitations do exist. This relates to crowd control, the size of events, location, purpose, licensing, Covid-19 specific protocols around service, food handling and more.

Our event will observe all the protocols that are in place at the time. We hope restrictions continue to be eased however the entire event is being planned on the basis of the current health measures, regulations and guidelines remaining in place.

You need to wear a mask in public spaces at almost all times (once we get to walk out into the nature, you are on a boat and other opportunities exist to have extended time maskless). You are not required to wear a mask when eating, drinking, swimming and when engaging in some sports.

Our organised evening entertainment will conclude at 1am in line with the licensing requirements. All event staff and supporting workers will be wearing masks  during all interactions.

Entry and exit between public spaces will require hand sanitising.

Without wanting to use such a hackneyed phrase, these are uncertain times. This requires that we be agile and flexible in our approach to how we can deliver the event in a responsible manner. We expect our delegates to be supportive of our efforts to minimise risk to all involved.

Beyond those requirements that are requested by the local and national authorities we will be engaging in a number of additional measures including regular temperature checks. You must be prepared for such temperature checks to be taken and recorded as part of your participation. 

Additionally masks will be worn by delegates much of the time, and always indoors. 

We are monitoring the situation closely and have not ruled out requesting PCR tests for those attending.
